Yes it is important when I get triggered to look deeper into the emotions and feelings to recognize and work through where they originated- it is even more important not to give the past emotions and feelings any real-estate in my brain as I am developing new healthier accurate nueral pathways in my brain.
Put as many not only positive thoughts but as many present reality accurate thoughts into mind/brain as many things are really good in the present.
